I was a regular visitor over the years for the old Golden Banana. I was looking forward to going again when they reopened. I have been there a couple of times recently, each time has been disappointing. First they have the nerve to charge to get in. The price of drinks is high. A mixed drink was $7.50 for a watered down rum & coke. The inside has been redone. It doesn't look bad, they want to appear upscale. They miss on all counts. The dancers really are ok, but not what I expected. Locals seem to be on to what is going on, & are staying away. Maybe that will force them to make changes.
