This place kind of reminds me...

This place kind of reminds me of McDoogal's without the nude lap dances and with a full bar. Oh, and with pasties. Can't exactly say why but it's what jumped to mind when I walked in. McD's isn't really my cup of tea and neither is this place, but I can see why people like both clubs. It was crowded, the most crowded of the three clubs I swung through on Norh Point on a Saturday night. People were laughing it up and almost everyone there was hanging out with someone they seemed to know. Enough going on where I'd say it was half and half with people paying attention to the show. Big rectangular bar with a stage in the middle, two poles at either end. Typical setup with two or three bartenders working. Christine the bartender seemed pretty cool, but she's only there on Saturday. Last call was around 1:30 am.

There were a few TVs around playing sports, and a pool table off to the left as you walk in but it wasn't being used. I only noticed because every other club on that strip had someone on the tables at all times. The best dancer I saw up on stage was Tina, followed by the hottest dancer (a solid 7-8) in the place whose name I can't recall. A slim brunette who seemed to have a following because several people wandered into the inner bar close enough to toss a fistful of dollars. Nothing particularly complicated in the routines, but this place doesn't really need it. The dancers would step off stage a few times during a song to collect dollars along the bar. I've written in other reviews that I'm not crazy about the practice in other towns, but those clubs had private dances and laps. To me there's no issue about it in a place where the stage show is driving the take.

There was a redhead from the crowd dancing with the brunette, and hopefully it was an audition because she was pretty hot if moving a little tentatively. Won't be back there to know, but let's hope so for the guy whooping it up next to me. He was cool, though, and convinced her to show a little skin near the end. Since I saw the two places back to back this roadside bar (a go-go) is like a super-sized version of Memories, but I think I actually prefer the layout at the other place because it has more room to move. There was a lot more activity here, though. Out of the North Point joints this is probably your best bet unless Skin starts doing laps (if they're any good), but with Players Club so close down the road at Pulaski and North Point you might as well drive there if laps are your thing.
