Got lost on the way here....

Got lost on the way here. The directions I had were all turned around because I'd hit the clubs out of order after leaving Bare Assets in Holiday. Stayed an hour and a half there waiting for it to improve, and what a waste of time that was. Had to pull over in that little town before I finally got someone to point me back toward Tampa. I roughly knew where Lipstixx and the Mons were on the way back, stopped through, then finally hit I-4 after trying to muck around on some back streets. Since these Tampa clubs are mostly off major roads, if you're mapping out a multi club run try to get the route mapped along highways in case you need to jump out of order. Not a lot of landmarks (or light) to navigate by in that part of town. The way not get to Ybor Strip is to try taking the Ybor City exit and working through downtown. The fact police'd roped off a few blocks with traffic detouring and jammed was my reward for being a good 20 blocks off from where I should have been. The exit you want off I-4 is about two up from the one marked Ybor City (50th, I think). So Ybor closes at 3 am on Thursdays. Got there right before closing time and didn't see much of anything other than it's generally about as nice as the last time I went (didn't review it then) even with the different name. The club has a nice layout and good looking women, though I'll agree with the sentiment that Mons has a better roster now that I've been there. Decided to go ahead and write a review because this club closed on time. I know, so what? Well, a lot of clubs will keep the doors open so long as customers are spending money. This place is apparently not one of them, so factor that into your planning. The bouncer at least got me pointed in the right direction back to I-4 and I rolled back toward 2001 since it's open til 5 am on Thursdays...this place will still be on the list next time through Tampa but with plenty of time to spare.
