Valley of the Dolls has been...

Valley of the Dolls has been improved by the new owner. This is still your basic blue-collar, workingman's bar but the additions made are good. There isn't any cover, domestic beer is $1 a bottle, shots are $2 - yes, liquor has come to the Valley. There is a food menu of basic lunch type foods - burgers, pizza, etc. The sound system is better and there is a DJ, not a jukebox. The obligatory pool table is now there as is a security guard checking IDs at the door. The ladies were friendly and seemed interested in the customers being there. The bartender was good looking and took good care of the customers. The dance area is now over by the west door and is sectioned off. All in all, Valley of the Dolls is a better club now than when Albee's daughter had it. It was busy and stayed that way all afternoon. Go and see for yourself; I think you'll enjoy yourself at the Valley once again.
