In avoiding the gala opening in February, waiting for the crowds and the hype to die down. Stopped in on 4/23/08 in the early evening. Lots of glitz and glitter. The place looks great, but the dancers are, at best, average. Ran into dancers from other Detroit clubs who are now at The Penthouse Club. Disappointed, because I thought they would have some real 10's, magazine and centerfold quality, in the crew. Not. VIP room is private and posh, but you ride a mirrored elevator with your dancer to get up there. Mileage OK, but not great. Manager is a great guy and a real pro, but he should avoid recycled Detroit dancers who sit and talk to each other while customers are waiting.
