First time visit at the Bird....

First time visit at the Bird. Went in during lunch and one word - BRIGHT! They turn on the lights so people can see while they're eating. Not a good idea in my opinion though. I don't want to be able to clearly see other patrons. Definitely a local crowd and the girls catered to them almost exclusively - had to flag down the girls for dances and was even told by one that she was with someone else, although she just sat by him while he was eating!

Anyway, onto the stripping. I've never seen tipping methods like those here. You put the dollar down the front of their underwear. Interesting. Private dances were nice, I sampled two ladies, one was about an 8 in the looks department but a 4 in the dance department. Liked to talk about her cat during the dance and I do mean literally her four legged pet. Doesn't exactly set the mood. Second was about a 5-6 in looks department but an 8.8 for the dances. Enthusiastic and made sure I left satisfied. I'll probably check out other clubs if I'm back in Lawrence, but I would come back here.
