I visited a couple of weeks...

I visited a couple of weeks ago on a Tuesday at 6PM. I walked in through the open doorway and ducked in past a cloth drape. I almost turned around a left because the place was empty and it didn't even appear to be a strip bar at all. There is just a small room with a bar and about 8 bar stools. As I was turning to leave, I was met with a chorus of "Come in, sit down, have a drink."... so I did. Immediately two petite, attractive Philippine girls came out a snuggled up, one on each side. I ordered a beer and faced a barrage of questions: What's your name? Where are you from? etc. The older, female bartender then asked me if I wanted to buy the girls a drink. I asked how much and said No when I heard it was $20 each. We then settled on $20 total for a "little drink". It was "Cheers" and then the girls started getting very friendly and made all sorts of suggestions. There was an Oriental dancer standing by a small stage behind the bar, but she never danced... probably because I declined to buy her a drink as well. While we talked at the bar, there was more mutual contact going on than virtually any US strip club allows even in a VIP room. Suffice it to say that the menu of available services was extensive, both on and off premises. The bartender said "I'm the mama-san, you pay me. I did not opt for the two-girl "Jurassic Park Room" show, but instead settled for a very satisfying one girl "booth dance".
