This has to be the most overrated club in the country. I gave this place another try after a less than sterling visit back in the fall (see my previous review). At that time, I chalked it up to a slow night (Wednesday). So I found myself again in NY on business the entire week so rolled in on a Thursday evening around 10pm. This time they charged me $60 b/c I didn't bring my 'membership card' with me. (To the door guy: yo numb nuts, some of us don't go carrying around our strip club VIP membership just so that our girlfriends/wives/significant others can find them!)

Unlike my previous visit, the place was crowded. Yes, it was like a rockin' house party, only it was a huge sausage-fest. Patrons probably outnumbered girls like 5-to-1 or 6-to-1. It was a challenge even catching a good glimpse of any of the girls. Anytime I began to set my gaze on a lady from a distance and scrutinize whether I wanted to approach her for a dance or not, some dude would walk right into my line of vision - all night. And since there's no stage dancing, you can't get an unfettered, up-close view of the goodies. Maybe I'm a traditionalist, I like to get a good look at the product on display before I buy.

Generally, the ladies were a step up in the looks dept. from my previous visit, but not decidedly so over other clubs I've been to in NY (such as Flashdancers) - and definitely not a match for dancers in L.A. or Las Vegas. By my estimation, there were probably about maybe three girls that evening who were 'lapable'. While there weren't any dogs (well, ok, there was one fake blonde who probably went under the knife one too many times), I was generally uninspired by the lineup. For the most part, they were plain-jane types. The lone standout was a tall, elegant and slender Black? Dominican? Mixed? ingenue.
