I was here on February 20,...

I was here on February 20, a Wednesday evening, from 10:00 to midnight. The club is in the middle of nowhere (actually in Kappa, IL, population 150, about ten miles north of Bloomington, pretty much square in the middle of the state, but off of an Interstate Highway). The building is not much to look at on the outside, pretty much a Butler building. The inside is well-appointed, and the management has obviously tried to make it look like a gentlemnen's club, with some success.

Clientele is blue collar--factory workers and farm labor, which a dancer told me is typical of all nights. I was very much overdressed in business clothes. I got no shit from the other patrons, and the staff was very attentive. The male staff all seem to be about 17 years old, and kind of nervous, but pleasant enough, and seemed interested in me having a good time. A lot of the patrons park at the rail (a guy who went in right before me asked the cashier for $50 singles), and a lot more hang out in groups of guys.

The dancers definitely reflect the surrouding central Illinois area--All-American, girl next door types, ranging from one 5 to one 10. The main problem they had was too few dancers--I would guess they only had six girls, dancing two-song sets, which made for a lot of getting up and getting down. It is up to the girls whether to dance in their g-strings or to go all nude...I got the impression that most girls will go all nude on stage, but do expect to be paid for it. I know it would be a treat to a lot of guys from around the country that the club also has a full bar, despite the full nudity.
