Compared to clubs I'm used to in L.A. and N.Y., this place is dumpy as hell. Sketchy neighborhood of street hustlers, tacky day-glo interior, fraying-at-the-edges decor -- this place is your interior decorator's worst nightmare. I don't think the ugly lighting is all that flattering to the dancers either, but at least this place doesn't attempt to mask female cellulute with pitch-dark mood lighting, a la the Spearmint Rhino chains.

The menu lineup on this weekday of my visit tended to be somewhat lacking. Dancers ranged from the 4's to 8's range, with the vast majority in the 5 ,6 categories. Girls tended toward the darker, swarthy end of the color shade spectrum--many Black, Filipina, Indian, Vietnamese, Caribbean, vaguely mulatto-ish ethnic backgrounds. That tends to be my thing. But if you like fair-skinned caucazoid honeys, this joint got your Russian and Eastern European types too.

What this club lacks aesthetics, however, makes up for in terms of mileage. If you like a lot of two-way lap contact, you'll love the crazy horse. But you'll pay for it too--topless dances start at $40 per, which is double to what I'm used to in LA. Don't feel like spending on laps? Well, with a fistful of singles, you can spend a good evening getting stage-side mileage as well. Now that's definitely something you don't get anywhere else (except maybe at some parts of Texas).
