After reading that some of my favorite dancers from L&L had moved over to this club, I decided to pay a visit. This is a different kind of place as the dancers don't usually come around asking for dances like most clubs. Some will sit at the bar talking until you go up and speak to them. Some seem to spend the entire time with presumably regulars. If you can get the attention of one of the better looking dancers, you can have a pretty good time.
I arrived just as the night shift was starting and a couple of my old favorites from L&L were still there in street clothes ready to leave. I told them I would be back the next day to catch up. I did see another old favorite from several years ago from L&L on South Boulevard. We grabbed a small table at the back of the club and got reacquainted. Table dances are $5 and you get about the same dance as at L&L Gastonia. They do have a couple of VIP rooms, but they are pretty pricy at $30 and $50 so I didn't partake. My experience in North Carolina clubs is that the vip's are rarely, if ever, worth it. I also noticed that no one else was going into the rooms either. Once my dancer moved on, I couldn't get anyone else's attention..seemed like all the dancers were sitting and talking with regulars and none were getting dances. Kind of a different situation for sure..how do they make any money if they do no dances?
Went back the next day to see my old favorites. Sat at the bar talking with Kory and Lynn, catching up on old times and why they are here instead of L&L. I did move back to the main club area with Kory and got a few table dances...$5 and they are as good as ever! The day shift has a more comfortable feel, but probably because I knew more of the dancers and even felt like a regular.
