As far as strip clubs go, san diego is lame.....there are too many no-contact-laws and therefore what you get in this town is usually AIR. I have checked out the clubs and if what you want is a lap dance, this is the best place to visit in the area. It's a bit pricey to get in ($25) but once inside the girls are pretty nice and they'll chat you up. There is one stage and 1 girl at a time who does a 2 song set, one with her bikini and the second one nude. If you settle on a girl you get led back into this labyrinth of cushioned partitions to a private seat and there she will do her thing but with the full bikini on. Watch for the 2/1 dance specials because they do offer them at regular intervals. Have fun.
