We've driven by this place a hundred times but never stopped because it is obviously a fancy gentleman's club and we don't usually like that kind of place. But on a recent hot Wednesday afternoon our curiousity and thirst got the better of us and we're glad it did. This place has none of the negative features that we associate with gentleman's clubs - no Barbie-dolls with fake boobs and attitudes, no rude bouncers, no high hustle, no bathroom attendants, no annoying disk jockey, no overly loud music, no outrageous prices.

Some may take isssue with that last item. Yes our Yuengling cost $6 and lap dances are $30 and up. But we were never approached for a tip or a dance. Which is cheaper, a $4 beer where you're constantly hounded for tips, or a $6 beer where you aren't? If you want you can sit at the bar for hours and all you will spend is for your own beer, and many of the customers seemed to be doing just that.

The laps come in several varieties. A lap in a separate room with comfortable easy chairs is $30 ($20 on Tuesdays.) There's medium contact but both bottoms and tops remain covered and touching by the guy is very limited. There is also a Champagne Room and a Gold Room which we didn't try but will. The former is $125 for a half hour, the latter $150. Both include unlimited free drinks for both you and the dancer. Our dancer explained that in the Gold Room she could take her top off "and we could do more because nobody watches you." It might depend on the girl but we suspect contact would still be fairly limited and no extras. There's too much invested here to break any laws.
