Went to the new Richard`s on...

Went to the new Richard`s on Altamont Ave. recently, and what a difference from the old building! Much, much nicer! It`s not as big on the inside as the old location, and the stage is not as big either, but it is much better looking and cleaner. The restrooms are 100% better too! And there`s heat and AC at the new place. Anyone who went to the old place on a really hot summer day knows how uncomfortable it could be there, so this is a welcome change! As far as the food goes, the menu looks to be pretty much the same as before. I always thought the food at Richard`s was not too bad. The girls I saw on my visit was all hot and very friendly. I`m not sure if they have a private dance room now or if the private dances are any better here. The waitress checked on me often during my visit there and was friendly. It was nice to not have to go up to the bar to order something like at some clubs in town. All in all, it`s a nice, relaxed atmosphere with no hustle for private dances. the only complaint I have with the smaller sized building is that the pool table is very close to the stage and some of the booths and can be a liitle distracting. Even with the improved location, Richard`s will not be mistaken for an upscale club, but with decent food, friendly dancers, and no hustle, it`s definately my favorite clud in Richmond.
