Above average Virginia club experience

I went to club rouge late on a Friday night. There’s a little parking lot next door and a doorman who seems to also watch the cars. It’s not hard to find with gps. It’s a run down three story building just off the highway exit.

Walked up, was IDed and wanded. You walk in and there was a security guy to the right who told me to go to the bartender on the left to pay a $20 cover. Signs said two drink minimum though no one hassled me about it. I got a coke and they gave me funny money change. This is a Richmond thing as it happened at one other club there. They take 1/20th, and while you can return the fake money for real money, I assume most people don’t bother.

Inside it is pretty small by club standards. The main floor is probably under 2000 square feet. There is a pole to the immediate right that no one seemed to use. Bar to the left, a couple small bathrooms directly ahead.
