I've driven by this place for...

I've driven by this place for years and years and never realized that it was a strip club! It really does just look like a neighborhood bar on both the outside and inside. The club is located off Bacon Street, which is just before the I-95 underpass as you're heading north on Rt. 1. Just follow that street until it turns into Carpenter Street...there's a few twists and turns along the way is all.

The club is very clean (it had some of the cleanest and most well-lit bathrooms that I've ever seen in a strip club!) and rectangular-shaped. Enter up some stairs and pay the $5 cover charge at night...and the main stage and bar area will be in the middle of the room. They use a wide "strip bar" concept here instead of stage dancing. It makes getting a drink from the bartender a tad difficult (if you have short arms...lol...), but it was interesting to watch. The "stage" area surrounds the entire bar. On the right side of the room (as you enter the place) is the dancer's dressing room, the bathrooms, and a pool table/video game area. On the left side of the place is the lap dance area, which is a series of open cubicles that are covered only with a thin, totally see-thru curtain. They have a few TVs as well...for when you're waiting for the stripper(s) to make her rounds on the bar. There were usually 2 strippers on the "stage" at any given time. There's no DJ here at all, and the hustle factor was pretty low. Expect the dancers to come by just to say "Hi" though...it's a very laid-back experience though.

Don't expect to see any really great looking strippers here though. The dancers were from a 0 (why these girls were dancing I'll never know) to a 6 IMO. Drinks started at around $3, and the mutual full-contact lap dances were $20/5 minutes (which is timed by the dancer with an egg timer)...just ask for a lap dance ticket from the bartender, pay the $20 there, then tip the dancer whatever you want to when the dance is over. The dancers here were mostly either old or kind of fat IMO, but there were a few younger dancers and everyone was very friendly. Expect to see a view of the kitty during the topless dancing on "stage". This place has a crude website (mickeysstripclub.com), which has a worthwhile coupon at least along with the club's hours. You'll never find any "extras" at this place (not like other RI clubs for sure), but OTC might be available though. There was a fair amount of contact during the timed lap dances, but don't expect to see any knockout girls here.
