PT's--Sauget is my local club of...

PT's--Sauget is my local club of choice. However, last night (actually, earlier this morning), insomnia, doubtless resulting from the pangs of conscience that follow twenty year of practicing law, drove me to PT's at the unprecedented hour of 2:00 a.m., and I stayed until about 3:30. The club was busy, but not packed. Probably 30 girls, which was sufficient for the crowd, since the customer population was about 1/4 women. It was obvious that the club gets a lot of business from folks who are out partying, and need some place to go after the "regular" bars close down. Most of the gender-mixed parties weren't patronizing dancers, but just keeping to themselves and drinking. The crowd was mostly twenties and early thirties; at 45, I was clearly one of the older people there.

Music was all over the place, by three-song set: country, techno, hip-hop, "big hair" 80s metal.

The dancers also covered the waterfront. Just as I arrived, one of my consistent dancers, a naturally stacked Portuguese girl with beautiful long black hair, was leaving. However, I soon was greeted by Jenna and Evie, two glamour-girl Barbie doll types in their early twenties.
