Last weekend some friends and I thought it would be fun to check out the Tilbury, which was our fist mistake. Now, around this are of Pennsylvania, the Tilbury is pretty well known for being a bit of a dive and boy is it ever. The minute you walk in you're hit with the smell...stale cigarettes and desperation. The club is extremely dark, which is a blessing when you see consider the women who work there. Imagine a truck stop waitress crossed with a heroin addict and there you have the best looking girl in the place. Needless to say, we stayed only long enough to satisfy our curiosity, so we only saw one tired, old looking dancer shimmying dejectedly up on the small, sagging stage, but we saw more than enough to know that anyone in search of a good time should avoid the Tilbury at all costs.
