Based on reviews here, I had to check this place out when I was in town and had the unfortunate experience of dropping in on a Wednesday evening. At least on this occasion, the hype did not live up to realities. As other reviewers have noted, this isn't a club in the traditional sense. You take an elevator up to a dingy loft. There is a common room area where dancers mingle with patrons. Here, they serve some stale pizza and appetizers on a table (just as if you were at some lousy houseparty). On the night I was there, there were as many ladies as customers. They were great conversationalists (that part is true), but that evening the quality of eye candy wasn't any notch higher than other joints. Did I mention there's no DJ? Dances are done in private room areas and it sounds like someone's iPod playlist -- you're likely to hear some pop crap right alongside a flamenco track. I received 3 dances from a sweet Puerto Rican hottie. Good, but again, nothing to scream about.

Again, maybe because it was a Wednesday, but that's what my experience was. For $50 an entry, I expect more. I'd drop in again on a different evening just to see if it's any different...
