Kahoots is "Processed American Cheese Food" - it's a lot like a strip club, only much more prepackaged. Having tried the disappointing Kahoots of Vernon, I wanted to see if the "name" club in Connecticut would be any better. It wasn't. It was just more crowded. The girls generally are attractive (7s and 8s), but they seemed vastly more interested in talking to each other than in paying attention to the paying customers; and, the lap dances were guarded. Each of the girls I spent time with talked about "the rules", which apparently exclude just about everything that's fun. Now, this may be a temporary problem, since nearly every girl in the place seemed to have been there less than a month (as of the end of May 2004), but one just kind of has a feeling that Kahoots runs through girls with some regularity. It's hard to do better in or around Hartford, unfortunately, so - if you do go - go with muted expectations, and you won't be disppointed. Why did I give it a "5", by the way? Good beer - the bar has Long Trail Ale on tap.
