Very interesting club. I went here for the first time on a Friday night. I arrived around 10PM in what's not a bustling part of New Haven. I did not feel that I was ever unsafe outside the club -- I parked literally one-half block down from the front door. The street was amply lit and there was nobody around. Reassuringly, upon entering the club I saw that there were security cameras that were monitoring the area outside the club; even more reassuringly, the bouncer appeared to occasionally glance at the cameras during the course of the night.

The club is split into two halves. You walk into a somewhat disconcerting hallway with a few steps leading up to a landing and you can elect to go right into the topless bar where they serve alcohol or left into the nude bar where they have vending machines (without alcohol.)

I went into the nude bar ('cause I didn't know what I was doing.) I paid my $15 cover, sat down, realized there was no alcohol, and went to the topless bar where thankfully I didn't have to pay another cover as my $15 served to get me into both parts of the club.
