Archibald's was one of the first strip clubs I ever went to, back when I had my first job as a lowly staffer on the Hill all those years back. At the time, it was a common hang-out for Hill staffers and even the occasional Senator or Congressman. The place was known for its liberal pours and generally upscale talent.

My, how times have changed. The place is no longer a haven for the politically-inclined but rather a despot of gangster-esque activity and other deviants and miscreants. I spent about 20 minutes here before I realized my safety was in jeopardy and headed for the exits.

I had one $9 drink and all the "talent" I saw was of the 2-3 variety, with maybe one 5 in the mix. To say Archie's is past its heyday is an understatement of epic proportions.
