This is a downstairs strip club...

This is a downstairs strip club along the main street in Barre, which is an old, dead rock quarry town....hence the club's name I think. Enter and the doorman will "greet" you...the bar is on the left of the club and the private dance areas (with curtains and secuity cameras) on on your right behind the doorman. From left to right in the middle of the club is some extra seating and a pool table over on the far right. The main stage is at the back of the club from the entrance with U-shaped seating around the edge of it (I'd recommend sitting on the right-hand side to see most the action in the club and catch your favorite dancer on her way out of the dressing room behind the stage). The bathrooms are way over on the left-hand side in back of the club...there's no lock on the men's room and it was very wet and kind of dirty in there. There were a few "mystery rooms" that I saw some of the staff enter in and out of at the back of the club during the night I was there. Dunno what's up with that...but one might be where the notorious owner sits watching his camera monitors. Be sure to bring your ID if you look young. That strip club sale listing looks pretty old on that site mentioned below...I doubt that they'll be many takers for a club like this in VT.

This club is better than what you'd expect given all the problems that it's had in the past and it's location in rural VT. The stage dances alone are worth the trip...you'll get almost more contact there (clothed) than you will in any of the dance areas. The lesbian shows that they do occasionally right in front of you on the rail are worth it for sure (I think I spent the better part of $50 alone on stage tips). Bring your ones and expect to get hit up for a lot of tips if you are along the railing. This club used to have some headliners, but I'm not so sure now. They also used to have a $2 cover charge on Tuesdays, but I've never validated that. The cover charge is $10 otherwise, and the drinks start out at a very reasonable $2-3. The club is open 7 PM to "close", which can mean anything from Midnight to 2 AM depending on whether there are paying clientele or not. There is ample parking on the street near the club in downtown Barre...the town is pretty much dead at night...but safe...it's VT. I'd definately go after 9 or 10 PM when things get busier. Take exit 6 or 7 off I-89 to get to Main Street in Barre, VT.

The girls are very natural...some have obviously had kids and are obviously significantly older than others, but the dancers put on a good show/lapdance none-the-less. It's $20 for a private dance (pay the doorman...they say it's one song, but it seemed more like the better part of 2 songs to me) with some good, clothed grind (no touching on your part...but lots on hers). They have this 3-4 foot rule where the dancer can't be disrobed at all unless they are that far away from you at all times. You'll usually get to see them topless on stage (and maybe get a peek at a lil more when tipping) and naked in the private dance area from afar. The VIP room is pretty much a ripoff from I remember before...it's $60/7 mins in a locked room with the dancer while she's partially or fully naked...you can touch almost everywhere (except where you might really want to). There's also $100/15 mins in the VIP room, but I've never tried that. You can get a BJ for that amount in Canada for God's sake! You are pretty much monitored by camera from most angles in the club...so behave! Most of the 5 dancers that I saw were very pretty and natural. It's a small basement club...so usually not many customers. The dancers here were a 5-8 on my scale...some girls could circulate the club more IMHO.
