Doesn't look like much from the outside. Walked around the wrong side of the building (the street side) because it's not that obvious where the door is if you park in the near lot. The coat check was little annoying. I like to be able to roll out of a club when the mood hits (especially if I wander into park n' fight) so I doubled back to the car. With two strikes against it before I saw a single dancer, it had some work to do in order to prevent a hasty departure for Cheaters. From the entrance, you walk into the main club area where there are several tables on the near side. This is a big club. If you look out into the main are you can walk down to a large stage with two poles that is high enough to have full height bar stools around it. There were, btw, complete with a few PLatrons. There's another set of tables on the far side of the stage with a bar in the back corner. The lap area is upstairs, and there is a landing on the way up with room to mingle (I had a strange conversation with a dancer wolfing down pizza to prove that point). Speaking of that, we were chatting about the feature dancer of the evening who I figured had a 50/50 chance of burning the place down with her fire tricks. It didn't get Studio 2000 kinky with lit candle snatch dancing, but it was pretty out there. Forgot what day of the week it was, but it was probably a Thursday. The drinks were cold, the waitstaff were pretty responsive and not too hard on the eyes themselves. At one point, the DJ gave a shout out to some guy who walked in like he was Norm from Cheers. I wound up with company that was plenty chatty at my table and had her hands all over the place. Since I was at a table at the 50 yard line of the stage with a pretty good view, I was occasionally peeking around her trying to get a feel for the talent on hand. The stage dancing was decent but nothing to write home about. The trip was meant to be a run thru but I wound up staying a couple of hours. In my mind, I've got cold beer and a curvy latina planted in my lap--why rush? Her samples at tableside (friendly dances, no tip other than a drink) were pretty good and her promises of goodness upstairs finally convinced me to give it a shot. Just a 2 for 1 set. No VIP. Funny thing, there are no curtains or anything on the normal booths which are in two rows facing each other. Not staggered like the LA Jet (with its super thin curtains), each seat is right across from another. The upstairs really seems to have a bit too much light considering the arrangement of the booths. I know I've been at this too long when I shrug it off. As for the laps, I'll admit she did put on a good show and there's a better menu available here than I'd gathered from some of the older reviews. After two dances I'd seen what I came to see and was off to another club. Turns out I'd already visited the better option, but that's for another review. This club is tops on my list for Providence at the moment.
