OK so this will be the SEVENTH review in a row by the same lame guy about the same club ... like, does he ever go ANYWHERE else? Anyway, I visited Babe's on a weekend night. This was a mistake. Arriving at about 10:45 after a bad experience at Danny's, I found the place packed. I was lucky to hit Babe's right when a "super special full-dress" thing was going on, so all the girls were on stage at the same time. About sixteen, several of the hotties (best by Babe's standards, about 8s or so by national standards) were in -- Chastity, Mya, Taylor, Sierra, Jasmine, whatsername Miss Budweiser (who is too fat and "whoop-em-up" for me), Goldie. Surprised to see Laura the waitress (yes, the one with the mullet and the pudgy belly) offering private lapdances. I tried and tried and tried to get one or several of the hotties to pay any attention to me, but (oddly, for a strip club) they seemed to prefer to hang with their regular customers, treat those dudes like boyfriends (one was making out with the guy), and ignore paying fellers like me. It's annoying as hell to have to try to PULL a chick from a guy and (a) do her work for her by going out of one's way to solicit a dance and (b) feel like the dopey loozer who can't get her time unless he pays for it, right there in comparison to the evidently much cooler and hipper young guy who gets her time for free. I felt old, grey, bald, and fat by comparison, even though I'm actually fairly young, dark- and thick-haired, and fit. The whole issue of "being rejected" and "taking a blow to my self-esteem" merely because a hot girl preferred another guy instead of me -- well, I go to strip clubs to AVOID THAT, not get STUCK WITH MORE OF IT, goll-dang-it!! Babes on the weekend -- just like your local honky-tonk, except sometimes a hot girl takes off her outfit on stage; Babes on a weeknight, hot girls WANT you and NEED you and TREAT YOU SPECIAL. The discrepancy is a problem.
