Was at Rick's recently- which is still suffering from the aisle walkers- and decided to mosey up the road to the nearby Deja Vu. On the whole... well, it's not too bad, but nothing to write home about. This was on a Wednesday afternoon, and there were only 4 girls working and maybe 3-4 guys in the club. That was a bit unnerving, but on the plus side the staff was friendly and cordial, and the place dark enough that I didn't mind.
The layout wasn't fantastic, in that it's kind of a theater in the round style (and rows of booth/chairs that face towards the main stage mean you could be sitting too close to another patron on a busy night, and there's no real nooks or crannies to hide away in), but the VIP room was a great layout: it's off to the side, and the booth walls were high so that- theoretically- naughty stuff could happen. At the very least, you'd have your privacy, and there were no staff roaming back there, or even any apparent cameras.
However, while the women were classic Deja Vu- younger than Rick's, more "fresh-faced", often with a nice little bit of sophomore chubbiness- the dances were a) very tame and b) classic "tease" dances; these are the kind where they'll bring their lips almost but not quite to yours, etc. Not my favorite style of dance, since well- life is short, and if I wanted to be *teased* I wouldn't be spending $30 a dance. :)
