I've never been to K2U but...

I've never been to K2U but found myself working in the area and decided to check it out. A little tricky to find if you don't know the area so check google maps before heading out. $5 cover is a bit over the top for daytime but very reasonable on a Saturday night. I had met a very pleasant lady at Cadillac Lounge a few weeks ago who mentioned that she also worked at K2U and I ran into her as she went up to do her first stage set. No names as I'm not sure that management of either club would like the idea of her "double dipping" but we had a delightful time both at the tip rail and in the very comfortable PD area downstairs. The club has a small "local bar" feel to it with one good sized stage and plenty of seating. Big screen TV's with the Sox just getting started on one set and the Yankees losing on the other...this made "Liz", the cutest little barmaid I've seen in a while, very happy. Dances are $20 each for topless-the club is topless only-and contact was plentiful. Bottled water:$2.50! Didn't sample the menu but prices seemed reasonable and what I saw looked good. All in all a fun place to hang though the late afternoon talent pool was a bit lacking when I got there. Things improved vastly at night. This place could become a regular stop for me when visiting RI.
