I visited Cheerleaders last month while I was in Philadelphia and left very disappointed. The girls are attractive, I'll grant you. But attractive girls aren't the only thing I'm looking for in a club. First off, the dollar parade after a song annoys me - I'd rather have the girl pick up the money during the dance itself. Second, I agree with the previous reviewer who says the girls didn't approach him about a dance. It's a fine line between dancers being aggressive and being welcoming, particularly to non-regulars. Eventually, I was approached and agreed to go in for a dance, hoping that the club would live up to expectations in that respect. Unfortunately, it was not to be so. The dance I got was very mechanical and mostly air. After that, I left and headed over to Oasis, which was much better. As far as good things go, Cheerleaders is easy to get to from the highway, even for an out-of-towner. It's in a shopping plaza and feels perfectly safe. The club itself is in good physical shape. If you want to look, it's an OK place (but why look at girls in bikinis when you can look at them nude, or at least topless?), but I left unimpressed.
