Visited Wednesday 5/16. This was my first visit to Tootsies. As I made my final turn, I kept my eyes peeled, anxious that I not miss it… No problem there, it's pretty hard to miss this place from the road. Hell, it's probably visible from space: the building looks big enough to be a commercial jet hanger, and it was lit up with gaudy green floodlights.

It looks like they offer valet parking, but I easily found a perfectly adequate parking space in a well-lit spot just a short walk from the door. No concerns about safety. Cover was only $6. Higher on weekends, I think.

Like many clubs where alcohol is served, the music was obnoxiously loud, and most of it this evening was "techno." The DJ wasn't especially obnoxious. The main room is remarkably spacious and brightly lit. I didn't see 100's of girls, but I saw a fair number and almost all of them were hot. They don't leave you alone for long, either. The waitress hadn't even returned with my drink order when a good-looking Ukranian sat on my lap and tried to sell me some dances. If only I'd had a few more minutes to acclimatize…. She left in a huff when I said, "Maybe later" even though I really did mean "maybe later" for a change. Only moments <i>after</i> my drink arrived, I was accosted by a girl a bit past her prime. As soon as she sat down, she reached over and fondled my package. I figured I had to check her out.
