An OK Evening at the Yellow Rose

I was in town and decided it would be fun to spend a few hours at the Yellow Rose, I went there about three weeks ago on a Thursday evening at around 9:30 pm. Stayed for about an hour and a half. I hadn't been to the Yellow Rose in about five or six years, but it looked pretty much the same. The main floor has two poles for dancers and then plenty of seating around it. There are couches for topless lap dances and a VIP section, which I did not partake in. There was a cover -- I can't remember the exact amount but I think it was over $20. Drinks were $15 for a cocktail. I had two.

After arriving, I found a table and watched the dancers working the poles. The girls were all pretty good looking (7s and 8s mostly with maybe a few 6s) but did not have that much enthusiasm in terms of pole skills. Then again the audience was somewhat subdued, maybe because it was still early. The place was probably about half way full. There were a lot of dancers sitting around and chatting or staring at their phones and not interacting with customers. There were a few girls sitting at tables chatting with customers, but not many.

I was there for probably about ten minutes or so before I was approached by a dancer (around a low 7) who, after maybe about a minute of small talk, quoted me $40 for a one song topless dance. This was a lot higher than what I remembered was usually standard at the Yellow Rose ($20), but I took her up on it. The dance was pretty sensual and the dancer was personable, saying she was from Cuba. There was, however, some upsell during the dance for a private room at around $300. I passed.
