Soi Cowboy (again)

Even though this was a Sunday night, the Soi Cowboy bar area was still active. The Rainbow gogo club here is very much like the first floor one in Nana Plaza. As I remember there are three rows of benchlike seating. All the seating surrounds a thin but long stage that can easily hold 15 girls. As you enter to the left is the bar where drinks are served. Beers were 180 baht ($5.30}, and lady drinks 230 baht {$6.50). By the way, there is no cover to enter (as in nearly all gogo bars on Soi Cowboy).

Most of the dancers were to my taste which is slim or athletic. A number of them did have tattoos (some full back tattoos). The "bar fine" for a short time (1-2 hours) was 1500 baht (about $45). You can then take your chosen girl out of the bar for that amount of time. Ther will also be a "fee" for her time, paid to her. Anywhere from 2500-4000 baht ($75-$120). A no tell motel is right around the corner for 450 baht ($14) a room.

I'm an old-school guy and I can best describe the music as techno or slightly disco. I have to admit that I have not found a gogo bar that plays rock and roll here.

With my girl of choice, I did have a good time while in the club. No bar fine on this visit. I will return.
