A Sausage Fest

After winning some money at the casino, my friend decided he wanted to celebrate by seeing some strippers. Since I didn’t want to drive he said I could ride with him and he’d drop me back when we were done. I put all my stuff in my car and only took what I planned on spending.

We got to the club around 9:30 PM and parked in the back. It didn’t seem as crowded as previous Mondays. Once inside the guy at the desk asked us each for our ID and a cover. My buddy paid for both of us so I’m not sure what it was. Last time I was here I paid $20. The guy scanned my friends ID and then asked for mine. I let him know I didn’t have it since my friend drove us. He then got an attitude and said, “Man, I need to scan your ID.” I then repeated what I first said and added, “do you want him to drive me back to the casino so I can get it from my car?” He then just looked at me like his head was going to explode. He was a dorky looking white guy with glasses who looked like he should be mopping the floor at a gas station. I then said I could tip him for his troubles. Suddenly he was a new person. “Well if you want to just give me money!” I gave him $10 and that deescalated the situation. My friend and I went in and had a good laugh.

I usually sit in the back but I could see from the front it was crowded. There was a Kardashian looking group of guys and girls taking up space. We grabbed a table across from the front bar. That turned out to be the right call as we had to go up and get our own drinks. They were really short staffed. Both Miller Lites were $7.
