Nice Spot

I never got the chance to go to Secrets when it was open. I doubt it was anything special but did wish I swung by at least once. That got me curious about the place being used again so decided to take a look.

I remembered why I didn't make it out here on the drive over because its a long ways away from downtown Tampa. It nestled right at the bottom of Town n Country about 15 mins from the airport in the opposite direction of Tampa. Pain in the ass drive from downtown but oh well. Plenty of parking in the dirt lot outside. Walked in around 10:30 Saturday night, no door girl at the stand. She must have been busy so the security guy gave a quick pat down and took 10$ for the cover.

The place does feel brand new. You walk past the curtain to see the stage and DJ booth directly in front of you on the left side of the building with the bar island in the middle of the spot with a circle of TV's atop the bar that you can see from wherever in the club. Along the right side of the building are the curtained VIP booths with a chest high wall separating the booths from the main floor. There's some sections along the walls and plenty of seating around the whole place, gives it a better lounge feeling than some of the nearby clubs.
