Disappointed, but very cool bartender

I arrived at L&L University about 2;30 pm. I go there once or twice a year just to check in. It is on North Tryon Street, easy to find, a bit industrial, not great , but far from scary at least during the day. There is plenty of parking in front or on the side.

You enter into a vestibule where someone checks your id (I think they scanned it), but no cover during the day. I enter and the same person who checked me at the door is the bartender. There is one dancer and one customer. Kinda sad to start out. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer. $8. It was the bartender's birthday so I tipped her well. She told me that she is fairly new working at this bar. She is really pleasant and friendly,

THe one dancer came to sit with me. She was tall, brunette pretty. She told me that she has worked there about a year. She said she moved from South Carolina. She told me that she was very nervous when she first started. I asked her what happened when the first guy put his mouth on her nipple. She looked at me and said "that is not allowed here". She was very serious. Hmm. Next thing you know, she asks if I want a dance. I did ask how much and I think she said $40. $40 with the no fun girl? Not a chance. She gets up and walks into the dressing room.
