Summertime (Almost) Fun

I’ll give another summary of the scene even though I described it before. It’s a neighborhood club/lounge in West Philly. There’s food truck next to the club and if the weather is nice expect 10-20 people outside the club. I never have any problems outside besides parking, you might have to park on the side street or the next street over.

Club entry is $10. Most drinks are $5-$15. Lap dances range from $10-$20 (ask dancer before you get a lap dance). The chair in the very back is an extra $10 while the other chairs are free, the same for upstairs/Outerspace, the last chair at the bar by the private room is $10. The private room which is nothing but a big closet with the dancers bags and clothes in there is $20. Same for upstairs/Outerspace it’s just a smaller closet with no bags and clothes. I find Thursdays and Sundays to be the busiest days of the week, while Fridays and Saturdays to be the second busiest. Pros: more and better looking dancers. Cons: more customers less sitting and less chances for the private room. Mostly black club although this day it was one Latina dance and three white dancers.

I got 5 dances from 4 different dancers. 2 black and 2 white. All were great but a fight between two dancers did break out behind me as I was getting a dance. They spilled my drink. I would say 90 percent of my dances Peter was out and about. I would suggest asking first and putting a raincoat on even though I believe they don’t care. La Pearl closes around 8-8:30 but upstairs stays open from 6-after 12. Puffing is allowed upstairs after 8 so if you don’t want to smell like that get outta there before 8.
