Friday post midnight experience with the boys

So me and two buddies decided to make a night of it on a Friday and hit up Flash Dancers in Midtown Manhattan. None of us had been in a while, so we figured why not. Here’s my honest take for anyone thinking about making the trip.

Cover was $25 a head at the door, which honestly isn’t bad at all for Midtown. You’re in the heart of Manhattan — you’ll spend that on two drinks at a hotel bar without blinking. Once inside, the place had a decent crowd going. I’d estimate somewhere between 30 and 40 guys spread around the club, enough to make it feel alive without being shoulder-to-shoulder packed. The energy was relaxed and social, which was exactly what we were looking for on a Friday.

The dancer lineup sat around 10 to 15 girls working the floor that night. Good variety — a mix of Asian, Hispanic, and mostly white girls, different body types and personalities. Lap dances were listed at $20, which again, reasonable for the city. That said, do yourself a favor and always confirm the price before anything starts. Near closing time, one dancer casually quoted one of us $200 for a dance — in the main room, not even VIP. That’s the kind of thing that’ll ruin your night if you’re not paying attention. Ask first, every time, no exceptions.
