Disappointing Friday Night at the Post

I was in town for a wedding in mid April and after doing some research, decided to give it a try on a Friday night. Arrived at around 10:30PM to a packed bar. It seems like 3/4 of the people who still here from post work happy hour. Maybe it is because this is technically a bikini bar and I’m more used to the traditional strip clubs of Miami and California, but I was not a fan. In other clubs I’ve been to, dancers are on the floor hustling to talk and get dances if they’re not on stage. Here, all of the dancers stayed behind the bar except for 1-2 that were sitting with regulars. It seemed like most dancers were happy with just getting the $1-2 from each patron for dance tips. The lap tips were no joke, dancers would sometimes do one dance then make around for tips, do another dance, and rinse and repeat. Over the 1.5 hours I was sitting at the bar, I spent about $55 on tips alone. Other reviews seem to suggest that less busy times during the week may be better and dancers are more willing to engage, but would not recommend for a Friday night
