Nope, Not Today

Pulled in late afternoon (430ish) Saturday, decent number of cars in the lot. Walk inside, pat down and ID scan by the bouncer (not one who knew me). No cover. He was friendly, not aggressive. Club set up is the same long bar along the left wall small bar stage across from it, regulars who hang out glued to their stools, some chatting up a dancer.

Main room is where the floor dances take place, $10 a pop. VIP area behind the main stage, $20 apiece, no entry fee. Non-alcoholic drink is $5 + tip. About a dozen or so dancers in the club. Now, in the best of times, there are a lot of dancers who, frankly, are rather hefty, with some nuggets among the pyrite. This was not one of those times. I was approached multiple times by multiple dancers, all of whom weighed more than me (190). I politely turned them down.

There was one very attractive (and thick, but curvy thick, not fatty thick) Latina dancer who was doom scrolling on her phone who definitely piqued my interest, but she was more intent on her iPhone than in asking me for a dance. I'm a firm believer that if a dancer isn't interested enough in asking you for a dance, then she probably isn't worth the effort or the money. So, while we made eye contact multiple times, she never got up, until she did to simply leave the back room. My lust unrequited, I left shortly afterwards. Total expenditure: $6.
