Signs of life!

I visited Dream Girls around 10PM on a Thursday night. It is located in a light industrial area, just off the Outer Drive exit from I75. The club has a large parking area that is adequately lit. It did not have a parking attendant so I parked my own car (in my book, self parking is a plus when compared with other Detroit clubs such as Flight Club and Landing Strip). Entrance fee was $15 dollars and the attendant scans your ID and takes a photo. This seems to be the protocol at all of the Deja Vu chain clubs (Dream Girls is part of the Deja Vu chain). I don't know why they do this and what they do with the electronic record but it is one of the reasons that I tend to avoid the Deja Vu clubs.

After paying the admission and passing the screening protocol, I entered the club. There was a dancer performing topless on stage, maybe 6 customers and about a dozen dancers visible on the main floor. It was a pretty quiet Thursday evening for a strip club. I sat at the bar and ordered a domestic beer, 8.50 plus a 1.50 tip to the attractive bartender. The dancers were a blend of black and white, with some slender and others more "curvy" but none who were obese.

As I was scanning the talent, an attractive black woman asked to join me. She sat beside me at the bar and chatted for a while. She had worked at some of the other Detroit clubs and was trying Dream Girls. I bought her a drink and we moved to a slightly more private are of the bar where she confirmed that I was commando under my shorts. We had a good time fondling each other at the bar so I decided to take her upstairs for a "dance" (this, of course, might have involved more than just a dance) for a reasonable price.
