Friendly Ladies, Still looks a lot like the old Olympic Gardens

I visited Peppermint Rhino twice last month: Once on a Tuesday late afternoon and the next day, Wednesday, at around 10 p.m. Afternoon cover was around $20 but they waived my next day’s visit after I asked the receptionist to place my name on the guest list for Wednesday night.

My overall observation: Pink Hippo staff at every level were welcoming and friendly during both visits. There is no smoking inside the club, but they have a smoking area outside the main entrance, but out of the way. The bar areas and layout are almost the same as they were back in the day when this place was Olympic Gardens.

Pink Hippo’s owner also owns Las Toxicas (fka the Library). I’ve seen interviews with him where says he wants to distinguish his clubs with friendlier atmospheres. As stated above, my two visits were like that.
