Inflation has hit Rick's and I'm so Disappointed

Was a bad evening for clubs and mongering. Just left the Lido Lounge being sorely disappointed and wanted to rescue the evening with an old tried and true but things change.

At least I still have free cover cards so I didn't pay the $20. Friendly host walks me in, all seems usual. Club is crowded because of the Knicks game, lots of PLs, lots of Girls. I make my way to the bar and the bartender I know is there but I get served by another. 2 drink minimum on the CC but I want to close. She gives me one and says she'll give me the second when I want it. I think it was $17 ea for my Dewars and Water. Tip was not included in the charge (unlike other places I've been).

AA girl comes up we start chatting, not really my type but time's flying and so we go up to the second level that was quieter and emptier for the dances. Oh, she says, you haven't been here for awhile (since last summer) it's now $40 a dance, 3 for $100. WTAF!? We do 3, it's fine. More action than at Lido but I'm not thrilled. At least she didn't ask for a tip.
