2nd Chance at Vivide

Took another trip to Vivide earlier than last time to meet some new dancers. I arrived about 6pm Thurs. and paid the $10 cover and $10 parking fees. Still received the standard pat down and entered through the upper floor. The club was far less busy than 404 Saturday and the upstairs bar wasn't even open. Just about all the patrons and dancers were down stairs on the level with the central stage and red couches surronding it. About 20 dancers mostly Latina and White walked the floor only stopping to chat and ask for dances with a few Black dancers doing occasional pole routines. The Latina dancers were quite aggressive when asking for VIP throughout the night, so I eventually took Rose up on her offer and she didn't disappoint once we got to the upstairs curtained off room. The charge was the standard $200 to the girl and $60 to the club to rent the room for 30 minutes.

After leaving VIP, I ordered a couple $6 beers and sat at one of the red couches to the right of the main stage. I stopped Angel, a slim Black dancer, as she walked by me to let her perform during a few songs for $10 each. She gave the most sensual dances of the night and I made sure to tip her well. Next was Mercedes(?) who was a Latina barbie like Rose and her dances were more routine and stiff, but she did give me a few friendly handshakes to make the experience worth it. Then Tori, a slim thick Black girl with darker complexion, came to me during the shift change around 8:30 with an offer to dance, again $10 per song, and she gave a great performance, although the DJ played the same slow song over and over to accomodate some RnB singer in attendance, which made counting the songs harder. All together I spent about $400 between drinks, dances, and VIP.

Most of the dancers left by 8-8:30pm and a few new girls appeared to replace them. By then some of the other party groups had left and when I departed at 9pm, the atmosphere was noticably quieter than when I arrived. And thankfully there were very few people smoking this time around so I didn't smell like an ashtray coming home. I think I prefer the slower pace of the weekday shift compared to late Saturday night, and you would definitely get your money's worth if you're looking for VIP.
