Rhino: The good and bad

I was in LA on a work trip. My previous last couple of times in LA, I didn’t hit up the clubs in City of Industry (COI), mainly due to the fact that the clubs were a little bit farther out from where I was staying (35-40 miles). This time I made sure my hotel was close to the COI clubs. Weeks before my trip, I had been looking online at the roll call to see which girls I would be interested in meeting/getting dances with. Some of the LA clubs have an online roll call that shows the schedule of the girls working that day, along with pictures accompanied with most of those girls. It also shows you their complete roster of girls. I was looking at the online roster for Rhino, the ones that caught my eye were: Riri, Jhene, Amethyst, Aubrey, Ari, and Babydoll. This review will cover two visits: Saturday night and Tuesday afternoon.

I rolled into Rhino at around 11pm on Saturday night. I walked over to Rhino from Synn, it was maybe a 10 minute walk. There’s a Spearmint Rhino adult store right next to the club, it looked like they had dancer outfits and other stuff in that store. I believe the cover was $22. I walked in, and it was very different than Synn (review to come). Synn was packed and busy, Rhino was slooow, it didn’t feel like a Saturday night, there were a few customers, a few girls walking around. No one was at the bar, I took at the seat at the bar and looked around. By the way it’s a non alcohol club, I got a Red Bull for 10 bucks. There was 1 stage, dances were done in the back in a separate area, the VIP dances are done at the opposite end of the club from the dances in a separate area. There were maybe 10 girls here on this night, a few of them came over and chatted briefly with me, there was no extreme drink hustle from the bartender like there was at Synn. A couple of times the bartender asked if I wanted to buy the lady a drink, I declined.

Dances are $20 topless, $40 nude. VIP dances options are the curtained area, and they also have the Rhino room which is supposedly more private. I believe the VIP was 15 minutes for $125, and the Rhino room was 30 minutes for $220. I believe Thursday is the day the VIP rooms are cheaper, but I’m not 100% sure about that. I also heard sometimes they do 4 for 2 specials, pay for 2 songs and 2 songs are free. In my 2 visits, they didn’t do that special one time, so I’m not sure how often they do it.
