A fine night at Tootsies

I've been to this club a few times and the first thing I will say is that it may be worth paying the VIP charge (from what I saw a lot of the hotter women were upstairs.) I did not on this visit, so 10 dollars to get in and you seat yourself by the stage. Drinks are not pricy by strip club standards. Got a bourbon and bottled water for like 12 dollars (together.) Sat down and enjoyed the talent on the stage. This is Miami, so the quality of the girls can be really really high. Unfortunately at Tootsie it can also be really low. I spent a lot of my night turning down dances and trying to watch the stage show, but the hustle here is strong and in the non VIP the quality of dancer is not. Lots and lots of Cuban dancers who struggle to communicate in English. The bar servers are also inconsistent, as I was really trying to get drinks at a quick pace. But after being patient I actually saw a dancer I knew from the last visit and she took me up to VIP. That worked out to 800 total, and I tipped another 200, but I assure you it was worth it. I know this seems expensive but the VIP very worth it here. After my VIP I hung out for a bit longer and talked with a couple dancers, most of whom were complaining that it was very slow. So my review in summary. You have to be patient here and shoo away lots and lots of hustle, but you can definitely get your money's worth if you are patient and ok with spending a bunch.
