Saturday Morning at The Palace

This club is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and is one of only a few within any reasonable driving distance in the area. Went in on a Saturday night late, close to 1:00 am. There were a fair amount of cars in the parking lot. As I walked in, it was a $10 cover charge. As you walk in it is pretty much a square bar. You enter to the right and go past the bar then directly across from the top of the bar is the dance floor, which is in an inverted Y shape. Facing the dance floor to the left and going to the back are a number of tables. To the right about even with the bar are a couple of couches. Further forward from the couches and about even with the dance floor is a private room.

There were about 4 or 5 dancers, and several women in street clothes sitting at the bar. Only a couple dancers were circulating. There was a fairly good crowd for the size of the club, and that is why only a couple dancers were available. I would rate the dancers mostly about 4-7, but one was closer to an 8 or 9. The bartender was ignoring me, so I never did get a drink.

According to the website, table dances are $15 and the private room, which is called the Kings Court, is $100 for 20 minutes. However, these were not the prices. Notwithstanding the website, the first dancer to approach me, an African American girl, said the dances were $25. I declined her and watched for a while. Then a white dancer approached and said dances were $20. We went and sat on one of the couches and had some decent dances. She told me that the owner was giving her a hard time because dancers had to wear pasties after midnight. I have no idea why midnight mattered. Then she told me that the private room was $125 for 20 minutes, and she would get naked, but would not do oral or have sex. After the dances on the couch, since it was quite late, and there did not seem to be any good talent remaining, I left. It felt reasonable to give it another shot earlier next time.
