Free Admission. Cheapish Drinks. Don't Bother.

Had to be in Columbus Ohio for a few days, at the beginning of the week. Searched TUSCL for the "best" clubs in town, only to find out that this town is not the best for this type of activity. The 3 main pastie bars are about 20 min north of downtown. Sunday night. Drove by Doll House first at about 8:30, really run down looking, only 1 car in the front parking lot. Hard pass.

Drove another 10 minutes to where Vanity and Columbus Gold are right next to each other. Some cars in both lots, located near a strip mall. We decided to pop into Vanity, bad choice. No cover charge, we made our way to the bar. Looked around, saw a couple other dudes. No girls beside the bartender.

Ordered a Captain & coke, $10. Still no girls. About 9 pm, a lanky tattooed brunette came by and sat between me and my friend. Very chatty, this one. At the ripe old age of 23, she knew it all and wouldn't stop telling us. Fortunately she was more focused on my friend, so he was the sucker who bought her a $40 dancer drink (sounds like they also come in $20 varieties too, but she want grey Goose).
