First time since it was the Foxy
I haven't been to this club since it was the Foxy Lady. Entrance isn't the most welcoming with the door being under a back awning and a prominent security camera and signage that makes the place feel less safe than the area actually is. Got the side eye at the door, I think because I was wearing "athletic" pants. Bouncer let me in after cover but it still wasn't a great start. Not sure how a clean, attractive, pair of hiking pants is less ok than jeans from walmart but whatever.
Inside still looks exactly the same which would be great if they had actually kept up with maintenance. What used to be a pretty classy interior is looking really worse for wear. Bathroom was shockingly bad with one barely functioning hand dryer, trash (including a condom box) in one of the urinals, and one stall was wide open with a disgusting backed up bowl that was about an inch from overflowing onto the floor. Halfway through the night someone closed that stall door and put a sign on it. Gross. Thankfully the rest of the club was just looking tired and not actively offputting. I didn't venture upstairs but I think the bar up there is still open in addition to the VIP rooms.
I've never been a huge fan of the stage layout with multiple levels and a rail setup that makes it really hard for the dancers to get close. Stage contact is pretty much nonexistent, which would be more of a problem if the dances weren't such a good value. Stage shows were weren't super enthusiastic, possibly because very few people were at the rail.
