A few minor club updates, the usual (good) dancers and dances
I arrived fairly early at Vivide, maybe 2:00pm on a Monday. There were plenty of spots left in the main parking lot, though it was starting to fill in already. Parking and cover were each $10. My pat down was cursory.
The club had added four (five?) hanging LED cubes showing cycles of club ads, "two drink minimum", and twerking dancers. I imagine they enhance the club feel at night, but they felt out of place for the day shift. I also wonder if the club might have better spent the money on them on fixing up the stairs or couches or other rundown bits.
They did update the faucet in the men's room. What used to be a dribble of water from a faucet crammed against the side of the sink was replaced with a properly sized faucet that actually flowed when turned on. I've seen so little upkeep of the club that this caught me by surprise. It was nice to be able to easily and properly wash my hands.
