Too expensive to be fun!

I visited Gold Club on the weekend. Initial positives were reasonably upscale look, friendly door and bar staff, enough girls around. Main floor has several tables around a main stage, smaller pole podium on the side by the bar. Upstairs mezzanine bar with another pole podium and private booths.

Entry was $25 and beers were $11, which seemed okay. Pricing problems came with the dances. I spoke to 7 or 8 girls, and all quoted some combintation of time/dances which was basically $100 per dance plus tip. I only saw one dance happening in the time I was there, unsurprising at that price, which also limited the atmosphere. None of the dancers were at a level justifying the price point!

Fine if you're looking for a place to hang out, have a drink, and watch the stages. If you're looking for lots of action or value then could not recommend, I left disappointed. I'd not been to a club in a few years, maybe this is the norm now, it's brought me back to TUSCL to find out.
