Sugar Forty Four Phoenix Review. Cover ten dollars, drinks ten to twelve dollars. The club was busy when I arrived but cleared out as the night went on. Good ratio of dancers to patrons. Met Sophie, a tall lean blonde who was friendly and engaging. She spent time chatting and laughing with me at the bar. Floor dances are thirty dollars, VIP dances twenty five dollars plus a twenty five dollar band to access the VIP area. With Sophie I got three VIP dances and she was excellent—great energy, grinding, really engaged. The VIP area is semi-private and comfortable. Later met Alice, a curvy white girl who spent time talking with me. Got a couple dances with her but the energy was different—less engaging, more mechanical. Overall Sugar Forty Four has a solid neighborhood vibe, friendly staff, and good value. Sophie was a standout. Worth visiting.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
